Gordon Wayman is a contractual consultant, public speaker and published author.  He worked as an executive for Illinois state government for 35 years.   He has worked as a contractual consultant for the State of Illinois and the U.S. Department of Commerce.  Gordon resides in the Metro St. Louis town of Caseyville, Illinois and Naples, Florida.  He  is married to Charlotte Wayman.  They have one daughter,  Amanda who married Joseph Dixon in 2025..

Gordon is the son of Jack and Helen Wayman. He was born and raised in Benton, Illinois, a small town in Southern Illinois known for the boyhood home of actor John Malkovich and NBA sports legend Doug Collins.  He attended Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois and graduated with a BA Degree in Political Science with a minor in Speech Communications. 

He is an active Christian and attends the Skyline Church in O'Fallon, Illinois and the First Naples Church in Naples, Florida.  He believes that the most important thing in our lives is our relationship with Jesus Christ.  Through Him we can live in peace and have eternal life.  Without Him our life has no meaning or hope.
